Meet & Greet

Yesterday we had a meet and greet for all of our family and friends who had not yet met/wanted more snuggle time with baby Adelie and baby Jaxson. Put on by my aunts and cousins, it was such a fun time! Cute Cute decorations, great food and the BEST company! It's crazy how even though life takes us down separate roads sometimes, we can meet up again and pick up, like we had never been apart.  The one missing piece that would have made yesterday perfect was my mother. We miss her so and she was brought up several times, bringing both tears and laughs :*) My aunts remind me so much of her.  The babies were an obvious hit and Brittney and I watched as they floated around the room from arm to arm.  We ate, we visited,  & we opened tons of presents.  These babies are SO blessed to have such a loving gathering of family and friends!

Week 4

Itty bitty baby cutie is one month old already!! She is growing like a weed very beautiful flower and really starting to put on a show for us! This week she sortakinda got her days and nights mixed up, but only briefly and then we were back on the right track.  During the week we kind of bummed around the house, I worked on pictures, she swung in her swing and we BOTH watched about a gazillion movies in between.  I've created a comfy little nook in my house that is our heaven on earth. Natural light not the beer, computer set up for picture editing, a tv constantly playing chic flicks and a sweet sweet babe swinging in her swing.  Give me a milkshake in one hand and a wine glass in the other and I'd never leave.  On Friday I packed up 3 of the 5 kids into my car and we headed South to visit with family and attend THEE Polish Festival in Brandon's home town.  After an extremely sweaty day of watching Brandon play softball, I dropped Adelie off for her first time being babysat! Ah! Talk about heartbreak. But seriously, she was in great hands and mom really enjoyed some grown up time ;)  aka a few drinks in a garage with the hubs and a few friends.  We only lasted 4 hours before we headed home to pick her up. (Every time I turned my phone on, there she was, looking sweet as ever) Cannot believe we ever existed without her! :)

Baby's Sleep: Sleeping pretty decent except w-th in which she was up all night playing!!gah!
Mom's Sleep: Sleeping okay, definitely not sleep deprived, and reallly enjoying sleeping in till 11 ;)
Milestones Reached: She smiles and laughs with her mouth WIDE open and breathing through her nose :) Her neck is getting very strong and she wants to sit up ALL the time!
Outings: Traveled to Union City and Bronson to visit and for Polish Fest
Nicknames: Ad's, Babes, Miss Ad's,  tootsie, sweetie, sweetie sugar
Other notes: Babes continues to be super easy and laid back. She is such a joy to be around and makes some of the funniest noises ever! She's also starting to look a lot more like her dad, 100% has his eyes...maybe his hair too....
