Itty Bitty Baby Beck #3

Surprise! It's been almost two years exactly since I last blogged, and SO much has happened! I've really missed blogging but let me tell you-One to two kids is hellabusy. I blinked and as of today I have a FOUR year old, a TWO year old and a SEVEN week old fetus! That's right!Nine pregnancy tests confirmed it!  Itty Bitty Baby Beck #3 is officially here and making his/her presence known! There was not even the slightest remote chance in hiding this pregnancy. Basically as soon as I take a pregnancy test, my uterus jumps into hyper drive and !!POP!! I look pregnant. And it's summer. There's pool time, and GOLF, and a whole lotta "here Jacee need a drink?"
 No thank you.
She's definitely pregnant.
So here we are! ECSTATIC to meet the newest member of our family and most likely our last itty bitty! What's even more exciting is little baby is due ON my Birthday! February 8th 2018!
So far this pregnancy has been polar opposite of how the girls were. Extreme exhaustion. I'm not the kind of person to sit still and normally I run completely on caffeine.  I have napped more in these 7 weeks than I have my entire Life. Coffee, my love, my sweet sweet coffee. Sounds absolutely terrible. I'm eating a good solid twelve or so meals a day and I'm queasy from about 4am until noon.
Boy? Third baby? We'll find out in August!
So what's happened since I've last blogged? I switched careers! I no longer take pictures full time. Around August of last year I started on a new path with Lularoe (a clothing line) and it has been such a blessing to our family! We now have an amazing basically member of our family nannying for us, part time in the school year and full time this summer! Marissa has been a godsend, being like a second set of hands to me with housework, kids and Lularoe :) Adelie went to Three school this year and starts actual preschool in the fall! She LOVED it and can't wait to go back! Aria wants to go some fierce but will have to wait another year :)
Life is about to get busier than ever and I am looking forward to another squishy baby to snuggle!
The girls are convinced they're getting a brother ;)
Here's to hoping I can remember to blog every week! ha

Weeks: 7
Feeling: Crazy Tired, hot & hungry
Cravings: Mountain Dew (terrible, I'm aware) Tacos, noodles
Aversions: Coffee
Looking forward to: Upcoming Drs visits, a long weekend and my next nap.
Gender predictor: Boy

Week Two

Here we go! Starting to really get into the swing of things this week! I bounced back so much faster this time and sitting around really isn't my cup of tea- so call me crazy but I booked a few photo sessions! So I took my two {socrazy!} two assistants for the first time on a shoot. No crying and zero naughtiness! It won't be an every time occurrence (now hiring a part time nanny! jk ;) but it's nice to know I can take them both if needed :)

Real Life
I thought it would be comical to keep that initial first paragraph I wrote almost 3 and a half months ago-because that is as far as the week 2 blogpost went.  Somewhere mid week life got busy.
Like r e a l l y busy.
Like, did I shower this week?/did Adelie have lunch?/why don't I have 12 hands?/middle of wedding season/Did I eat today/boy this newborn eats a lot/are the two's always this busy?
Like a HUGE dose of humble pie Jacee.
Two is not the walk in the park that it was week one. I'm not going to lie, it's been hard busy. Like, there is NO sitting enjoying your precious newborn like you did the first time. Instead I've been hustling around the house with Aria tucked under my arm like a football trying to keep Adelie entertained so that she doesn't feed the bunny foreign objects or dump out all of the containment's of a drawer into the toilet.  Actually the new one, is filling up teacups of water from the refrigerator door and leaving them in random places around the house.
Perhaps the biggest struggle this far has been self induced.  I decided to go back to work way to early and so I've been trying to balance work and family.
Just last week I realized what I was doing to myself and cut myself some slack.  I was way to stressed out, my poor house was suffering and my girls need my attention during the day.  My editing time is currently at night, nap time (if they nap at the same time) and early morning (if I can drag myself out of bed). Coffee has been flowing through me and I'm running on fumes ;)

Aria's Nursery Tour

I still can't believe I was able to keep her name a secret for as long as I did! Her nursery ended up being nothing like I had imagined, but am SO in love with how it turned out! Originally I was going with light pinks, creams and whites-but let's be real. I love color! The more the better-I've said it before, I am such a magpie. Anything bright colorful, shiny or sparkly, I'm all over it and filling my nest with it ;)
Without further adieu, welcome to
