Beck Babies: Week 14

Adelie got her fair share of ~~first dates~~ visitors and play dates this week, as mommy had a full photography schedule (the majority being babies! (boy babies;)). Monday- Thursday we entertained babies and mama's. Me shoving babies in pumpkins and making naked babies smile and Adelie talking the mama's ears off. Yes. Adelie is such a jibberjabberer now! She has officially found her voice and holds notes longer then anyone I know :) This makes car rides extremely funny and using the radio in the car seem Foolish because her songs/stories are SO much better. Thursday after a much needed visit with GG Carol, (that's great grandma Carol to you) and Cousins Kristen and baby Daiya, We ventured downtown Grand Rapids for Art Prize.

In case you are not from Michigan, Art Prize is the worlds largest Art Competition. For a week Art and people take over Grand Rapids and the city explodes with color and life! You tour the city and vote on your favorite pieces of Art via smartphone all while sipping craft beer and tapping your toe to the mix being spun by the dj atop a flame blowing dragon. Sounds pretty great right? Babes thought so. She

stayed awake almost the whole time we were downtown, of course the bright strobe lights and loud music might have played a part in that. But she was awake and content none the less ;) A sucker for handmade crafts, I begged Brandon to have the man shaping wire in the form of words, bend Adelie's name. Huffing and Puffing he handed over the $10 ;) What a good Dad!

On the way home at around 11 Brandon sprung one on us. He says,

"Do you want to take Ad's tent camping

on Lake Michigan this weekend?"
