Is it just me, or did Christmas sneak up say hi for 5 seconds and then jet out the door? I cannot believe it has come and gone already! Confession: We didn't even get to half of our December todo list. I guess theres always next year ;) We also did not set out milk and cookies because Brandon Santa ate them all days before the big day. What we did do, was wake up Christmas day as a very blessed and thankful family of three (technically 7 with the fur babies). We helped Adelie opened all of Adelie's presents and showed them to her, because she didn't really grasp the whole present opening concept. She barely made it to the end of opening our presents before it was time for her morning nap. Once she woke up we began the trek down state to my parents house. My favorite house.
Adelie was so spoiled by my Dad, Siblings and Grandma. Lot's of light up toys and warm, bright and fuzzy outfits :) We had so much fun visiting and just hanging out for the day, I wish we lived closer. Yes, An hour and a half is too far. My dad even made us an amazing feast! A chicken & stuffing dish, mashed potatoes and veggies. Yum! Stretchy leggings were a great choice to wear to Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner ;)
We have been so blessed this past year and could not be more thankful for everything and everyone in our lives :)
We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!
