Week 31

Who would have thought it would take a whole week to recuperate from vacation?? We spent almost all week lounging, catching up on naps and cleaning the house.

I completely understand now, why my mother would never leave our house messy before we left for vacation.

I have literally spent all week cleaning up the disaster zone.  Which has lead to some very productive cleaning/decorating in the bedroom.  We finally have bedding, (we've been sleeping with two separate comforters) and I've been busy decorating the walls.  Adelie chimes in her opinions when asked.  And when not asked.

Ads has officially been bumped up to size 4 diapers, and her 9m clothes are on the verge of being too small.  She is one tall girl!  

We have watched the movie Frozen at least a dozen times.<-So incredibly cute!

Adelie has started singing with me!If I start a song she chimes right in, never with the correct words and completely a touch out of tune but the cutest thing I've ever heard. :)

I had a very real dream mid week, that I was pregnant and gave birth to another little girl in the booth of a restaurant.<-I've had several dreams the next one will be a girl. No not hinting at anything ;)

On Wednesday our friends Jenny and Natalie came over for a play date. It was so fun watching the girls play together, now that they can both sit up!!

In food talk, this week we started offering Ads a mesh teether filled with Apple Cinnamon puffs. She wasn't so sure about them at first, but LOVES them now!!  You can tell she really loves crunching it with her fresh set of chompers. 

On tuesday we are making up her 6m apt, which was rescheduled due to snow and then our florida vaca. Which also means shots

I finally decided on a bedspread, a Sparkley grey set, since grey is totally masculine

Week 30

Our trip to Florida was so much fun! We got to enjoy the company of friends we don't get to see that often (Adelie was Ms. Popular) eat great food and watch some amazing sunsets.

The not so great moments include, teething, hot packed airplanes, juggling luggage, cold weather and a little Lady who forgot we are supposed to sleep in on vacation.

I guess only Brandon got that memo...

Adelie did exceptionally well on the Airplanes. Let me just tell you I used to be one of those people who cringed when I saw someone get on with a young baby.<- Not so fun being on the other end.  People literally start shaking when they see a baby.  

Our only bumps were when we took off and the last 10 minutes of each flight, as she was SO ready to get off the plane and so was momma.  She never all out cried, but was pretty restless and super over all her boring non light up toys I had packed for the plane.  Luckily I had people who sat by us for both flights tell me how good she did once we landed. THANK YOU KIND PEOPLE.

We only had semi warm weather the day we got there and the day we left! I mean in the high 60's. 

wah wah We literally were in our bathing suits one day.  And on that day, the locals were in their winter coats and pants. 

Adelie officially has four teeth! This morning the upper right finally broke through! 

Eating wise she is LOVING the stage 2 foods still. Favs include Mac & Cheese Vegetable beef dinner, and chicken noodle. Oh AND ice cream. <-Like her mama

She is on the verge of crawling, but hasnt quite figured out how to use those strong leggies productively. Speaking of...

I have bruises all over my upper legs from her kicking me when she sleeps with me.

She sleeps in her bed until about 6 when she wakes and I go bring her into our bed, now that we have room!

She is now pretty solid at sitting up, but rocks forward to crawl. Usually ending in a nose dive.  She still only rolls from her back to her belly and only to the right.  Standing is her favorite and she did so for almost the whole flight.

Florida in pictures

we all know I take a LOT of pictures, so week 30/Florida will be broken up into two parts ;)

(After all, I do take pictures for a living)

Florida was SO much fun, and although it was pretty chilly <--In the 50s for most the week :( We had a great time!  Adelie really enjoyed the ocean. The waves were mesmerizing! We caught the sunset each night and were even able to squeeze in our first (crazy!!) family photo session.  One of my very good friends who lives in Orlando drove over to meet Ads and was so kind to snap some pictures on my camera! Thanks D!!

So we hung out inside with all of our Florida Friends!

We stayed at our Friends family Beach condo. And our stay overlapped the last few days of Casey's Bachelorette Party weekend (second from right). We had so much fun with the girls! :)
