15m BooBoos and Fall Festiveness!

Last week we experienced our first bee sting. Yes it was terrible. Yes, there were lot's of tears, but we now know that she is not allergic to bees. So that's a positive right? I looked up from editing on my computer to a red faced Adelie pinching a honeybee in-between her little fingers. It took a solid hour for both of us to calm down. B stayed calm the whole time-thank goodness.
Finally getting over the bee sting incident, we have moved onto the canine teeth.  Adelie has been such a trooper dealing with all her teeth over the past year-She now has 14! The molars were fierce (as she got all four at the same time) and these canines are equally as terrible! I'm not one for medicating-I couldn't even tell you where medicine is in our house or what we have, but Adelie's teething meds have been on the island in our kitchen for a week now.  One popped through last night, so I see light at the end of our tunnel!!
It is now late September and we are almost caught up from our busy August. Photography is finally starting to slow down just a touch-Enough for me to finally blog!  This house feels like or home and we are lovvving it :) Having a studio within eyesight of Adelie's playroom is probably the biggest blessing. Although lets be real-whenever i have a session she smooshes her face up against the glass tapping on it laughing ;)
I made a trip to Ikea before a wedding a few weekends ago and hit the jackpot on curtains-Looking for affordable/adorable curtains? Look no further ;) Starting with a blank (literally) slate of a house I've been adding pops of jewel tone colors throughout the downstairs, including these beautiful deep radiant orchid curtains in Adelie's playroom and these in the living room.
Adelie's hair is slowly filling in and looking more Auburn as it grows.  Her favorite activities continue to be babies and playing kitchen but with the new addition of shopping bags ;)  She hauls around as many bags as she can find, reusable grocery bags, plastic ones, backpacks...stuffing any and everything in them. She loves zooming up and down the stairs with a baby in each hand-we've only had a few accidents, but nothing major.  We do not have any baby gates up at our house-I wanted her to know how to use the stairs rather then keep it off limits.
Since Fall is officially on us, we picked up a few items that are quickly becoming our favorite go-tos including a pair of yellow skinny's a leopard print top and a fur vest! A baby, in a fur vest? The cutest thing on the planet!!** She is straight up fierce with it on ;)
Our front porch got a festive facelift after Ads and I visited the local greenhouse.  She is every bit of her grandmothers granddaughter ;)
Tomorrow we welcome home B, (who was out of state on biz) and head to the Wild Animal Park!  I've head great things about it, and can't wait to share our visit! :)

One of our sweet finds at a garage sale! An almost brand new jogging stroller-Now...to just start jogging ;)

And PS I chopped my hair ;)
