Babes made it to her first ever Notre Dame game yesterday! Well, almost. She made it to the parking lot for tailgating. She wont be going into a game for a few years ;) Some good friends of ours have a condo basically on ND's campus which is awesome and were so incredibly sweet for watching her for a few hours while mommy and daddy Beck got to enjoy a few adult beverages and watch our Irish take the field and dominate Temple. They were so excited to finally meet Adelie and we couldn't have asked for better babysitters :) She cruised all over campus with the Dolezal crew and met back up with us so all of our friends and their parents could meet her as well! She was quite the hit. After a brief rain shower, the humidity was kicked up a notch making sitting through the game semi uncomfortable....but who cares, we were watching the Irish!
After the game we retreated to the condo where we officially declared ourselves Old.
Instead of heading to Finny's and cabing it through Taco Bell at 3am we found ourselves playing peekaboo with Adelie and were in bed pushing midnight. Not complaining.
A few family pictures the next day followed by the purchase of a baby crew neck sweatshirt, Adelie's first visit to Martin's side door deli and we were back on the road to GR.
Exhausted. Happy. Complete.
